Dr. Gregory Knoll, C. Psych.
I am the founder and scientific director at Brant Child & Adolescent Psychology Services (BCAPS). I am a registered psychologist in Ontario and provide services in the areas of school and clinical psychology. I work exclusively with children, adolescents, and their families, and I provide all clients with the highest standard of evidence-based care.
I received my Doctoral Degree in Clinical-Developmental Psychology from York University in Toronto. This clinical training program is accredited by the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) and is based on a scientist-practitioner model. Throughout my training, I have worked in a variety of settings including accredited teaching hospitals such as the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health and the Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences. I have also worked in various school boards in Brantford and Toronto. In the schools, I conducted psych-ed assessments and worked with administrators and special education teachers to develop and implement comprehensive Individual Education Plans (IEP).
At BCAPS, I conduct psychoeducational assessments and provide CBT and DBT. Additionally, I provide psychological supervision to all Associates. I also provide inspired talks/workshops on a variety of topics and to a variety of audiences. I have a background in competitive sports and a keen interest in providing sports psychology skills and performance coaching tips to athletes, dancers, musicians, and academics hoping to reach their full potential.
I am a member of the College of Psychologists of Ontario and the Ontario Psychological Association.

Taylor Bates MSW, RSW
I am a registered social worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. I graduated with Honours from the Master of Social Work program at Wilfrid Laurier University. Over the past 10 years, I have provided therapy to children and adolescents struggling with a variety of concerns including anxiety, depression, addictions, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and borderline personality disorder (BPD). I have worked in a variety of settings including Woodview Mental Health and Autism Services, St Leonard’s Community Services for Mental Health and Addiction, as well as Brant Community Healthcare System, Early Intervention for Mental Health Program. As a clinical associate at BCAPS, I provide evidence-based interventions using CBT and DBT. I enjoy supporting children and adolescents and in therapy, I am upbeat, engaging, and provide a safe and non-judgemental environment for all clients.
Aspen Searle MSW, RSW
I am a registered social worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. As a NCAA Division 1 student athlete and scholarship recipient (softball), I graduated with Honours from the Bachelor of Arts in Psychology program at Bowling Green State University. Subsequently, I attended Ohio State University and received a Master of Social Work. I worked with youth in a variety of settings including Brant Community Healthcare System, Early Intervention for Mental Health Program, and private practice.
My therapeutic interests include working with children and adolescents who are experiencing mood and anxiety issues. Additionally, I have a sports background and specialize in performance coaching for those hoping to get the competitive edge. My primary approaches to helping include CBT and DBT.
Angelina Vaccaro MSW, RSW, PH.D. (c)
I am a registered social worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. My education includes a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Social Work from McMaster University, as well as a Master of Social Work from York University. Currently, I am a doctoral candidate with York University’s School of Social Work. My PhD thesis utilizes an arts-based, collaborative research approach of digital storytelling to explore and better understand strategies to make society more inclusive for individuals with ASD and intellectual disabilities.
In my clinical work, I have 10 years of experience in the social sector providing mental health support to diverse populations. I specialize in helping children with ASD, ADHD, anxiety, and depression. I worked in a variety of settings including Woodview Autism and Mental Health Services and Community Living North Halton. My primary therapeutic approaches include CBT and DBT.
Andrew Beaver MA, RP
I am a registered psychotherapist with a passion for helping children and teenagers who struggle with their mental health. My education includes a Bachelor of Arts from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.
I practice from a collaborative, strengths-based framework that is informed by evidence-based modalities including CBT and DBT. I have worked with youth in a variety of settings including Woodview Autism and Mental Health Services, Brant Community Healthcare System, and St. Leonard’s Community Services. I am respected for my ability to engage clients and to build a strong therapeutic rapport, often by using creative approaches such as technology, multi-media, and play. Melanie Ferdinand MSW, RSW
I am a registered social worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. I attended Western University and graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Subsequently, I received a Master of Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University.
I have many years of experience working with children, adolescents, and their families through my work at Thames Valley District School Board, Sprucedale Youth Centre, and REACH Family Services in Simcoe Ontario. In these settings, I provided therapy to address anger management, anxiety, depression, addictions, and relationship problems. I adhere to evidence-based treatment methods such as CBT and DBT. At BCAPS, I am respected for my energetic, compassionate approach, and authentic presence.
